The vast majority of people have preconceived opinions that they have developed about individuals incarcerated. Based on the stories they’ve heard, by TV, or just from fear of the unknown. So it’s already a challenge for me to befriend you under the circumstances. Even still, by no means will I give off the perception that I am the most law abiding citizen. B/C I am quite sure you will agree that no-one’s perfect, we all have room for growth. I don’t look at my incarceration as a failure, but as a lesson learned. Using it as a stepping stone to improve myself as a person.
Unfortunately, due to my imprisonment, I continuously struggle w/staying in high spirits each day. On the contrary, I’m also down to earth, and very much still a relatable individual. I can’t say that I am the most religious person but I do believe in a higher power whether it’s Jesus, Allah, etc. I am seeking friendship, someone who knows the definition of it. And what it means to be friends first. Someone I can find comfort in sharing mental and moral support with by communicating through emails, telephone, etc. Females only!
