I want to open up this brief little letter by hoping that words find my reader in the best of health and at the very highest of spirits. What all I say comes straight from the heart and is with nothing but respect.
My name is Anthony Williams and I am Hispanic / White. I am 28 years young. I am from a little town called Rockport, TX; its way down south by the ocean, beautiful town. Anyhow, I am currently serving time for a crime that I did not commit, but that is beside the point. What happened, happened, I have no control over the situation, all that I can say is that I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was hanging around the wrong person.
I have been incarcerated for the past three years and I have learned a lot about myself since then so I can’t say that this has been a waste of time. I have definitely been doing everything possible to better myself and I am almost positive that I am prepared to go back out into society and become a productive member of society. I am set to be released late 2011. I am seeking friendship / pen pals to assist me through these last few months that I have remaining on my prison sentence. I am sure that someone may be able to give me a little good advice before I depart.
Many people get the wrong idea about prisoners, we are not all bad individuals… some of us have just made a few wrong choices in life. Most of us prisoners learn from our mistakes, at least I have.
Whoever stumbles across these words I hope they have caught your attention and you decide to drop a few lines, you will definitely not be disappointed nor will I be a waste of your time. Thank you for your precious time…
