My passion in life is "Human Understanding". When things happen to us we usually want to know it's cause. When someone breaks our heart we long to understand why. Unfortunately our emotions get in the way and they obscure our senses. When this happens the conclusions that we formulate are often inaccurate or completely wrong. So, I ask myself how often do I construct opinions and ideas that are incorrect?
From a practical point of view this matters: It matters because the quality of our relationships can be no stronger than the depth of our understanding.
I am convinced that understanding at its most optional level is the substance of great relationships. It is what lets us enjoy the company of others in deeply meaningful ways. This is particularly true between girlfriend and boyfriend, wife and husband, sister and brother and mother and son.
Understanding – True, meaningful understanding – enlightens us to subtle things. For instance it teaches us about "equality" it forces us to abhor the perception that all too many men have of woman as inferior; that a woman's "purpose" is to serve man; that "men" have a (God given right?) of coming first. Hence my decision in the above series of couples to display this "subtle" understanding" In every instance the woman is introduced first when ordinarily men are accorded that designation.
Meaningful understanding teaches me to stop and take note of understated qualities in another. Done effectively sweetness emanates from the recipients body. Its impact arouses longing because its promise of enjoyment or pleasure is uncontrollably seductive.
To you who now read this your eyes have journeyed here because these ideals are not currently fulfilled. I make NO CLAIMS that I am he who can consummate these words, but if I succeed in awakening something within you, something that urges you to express yourself as you really are, if mental stimulation is a pre-requisite that you absolutely must have, then I WILL hear from you.
In all honesty I am drawn to sexy, intelligent and very passionate woman – all though I do not kiss girls who smoke or text while driving...unless of course you force me. But again, I'm being use to being abused by woman. OH WELL!
